The Alpha Foxtrot AF1911-Romulus 10mm 4.25" Threaded Barrel is a powerful, modernized 1911-style pistol chambered in 10mm Auto. This high-performance model features a 4.25-inch threaded barrel, making it an excellent choice for shooters who want the raw power of 10mm combined with the ability to mount a suppressor. Built on the proven Romulus platform, this pistol delivers the classic 1911 ergonomics and trigger feel with modern enhancements including a durable DLC black finish and high-capacity magazines.
Why Choose the Alpha Foxtrot AF1911-Romulus 10mm?
The Alpha Foxtrot Romulus 10mm stands out as one of the most capable and versatile 10mm pistols available today. While many 10mm firearms are built on striker-fired platforms, the Romulus brings the legendary 1911 trigger, grip angle, and manual of arms to the powerful 10mm cartridge. The 4.25-inch threaded barrel allows users to easily attach a suppressor, significantly reducing the sharp report and recoil of the 10mm round. This makes the pistol much more enjoyable to shoot during extended range sessions while maintaining the stopping power that 10mm is known for. Alpha Foxtrot has designed the Romulus with a focus on reliability and performance, using quality components and a robust construction that can handle the higher pressures of the 10mm cartridge. The DLC black finish provides excellent corrosion resistance and a professional, low-glare appearance. Whether used for hunting, self-defense, competition, or as a suppressor host, the AF1911-Romulus 10mm offers a unique combination of classic design and modern capability.
