Designed for competitive shooters, tactical professionals, and discerning enthusiasts, the Romulus offers exceptional accuracy, reliability, and the ability to mount red dot optics directly from the factory.
Why Choose the Alpha Foxtrot AF1911-Romulus 5" MOS Adapter?
The Alpha Foxtrot Romulus 5-inch model represents the pinnacle of modern 1911 design. While staying true to the legendary 1911 platform’s superior trigger, grip angle, and handling characteristics, this version maximizes performance with a full-length 5-inch barrel. The longer barrel provides increased muzzle velocity, a longer sight radius, and improved accuracy at distance, making it an excellent choice for competition shooting and precision range work. The factory-installed MOS adapter allows for quick and secure mounting of popular red dot sights without the need for custom slide milling. Alpha Foxtrot equips this model with high-capacity magazines, giving shooters significantly more rounds than traditional 1911 pistols. The DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) black finish offers outstanding corrosion resistance and a sleek, professional appearance. Whether you’re competing in USPSA, IDPA, or 3-Gun matches, or simply want a high-capacity, optic-ready 1911 for range and defensive use, the AF1911-Romulus 5" delivers outstanding performance and value.

Performance and Handling
The Alpha Foxtrot AF1911-Romulus 5" MOS Adapter excels in accuracy and shootability thanks to its full-length 5-inch barrel. The additional barrel length provides higher muzzle velocity and a longer sight radius, resulting in improved precision at longer distances compared to shorter-barreled models. This makes the 5" Romulus an outstanding choice for competition shooters who prioritize accuracy and flat-shooting performance.
The MOS adapter allows users to easily mount a wide variety of red dot optics, significantly improving target acquisition speed and overall shooting performance. The DLC black finish not only looks sharp but also provides excellent protection against wear and corrosion. The pistol retains the crisp, short-reset trigger and superior ergonomics that have made the 1911 platform legendary for over a century. With the included 17-round and 20-round magazines, shooters benefit from greatly increased capacity over traditional single-stack 1911s. The Romulus 5" offers an ideal balance of classic 1911 handling with modern features, making it suitable for competition, training, and defensive applications.
