The Apex Ammo PK3-2024 12 Gauge 3" 2oz 2/4 Stratified Shotshells are high-performance magnum waterfowl loads engineered for serious duck and goose hunters. This 3-inch shell features a powerful 2-ounce payload of stratified #2 and #4 shot, delivering an excellent balance of pattern density and terminal energy. Designed for hunters who need reliable long-range performance without the extreme recoil of heavier 3.5" loads, the PK3-2024 offers outstanding knockdown power on large waterfowl while maintaining shootability in a wide variety of 3" chambered shotguns.
Why Choose Apex Ammo PK3-2024 3" Stratified Waterfowl Shells?
Many waterfowl hunters prefer 3-inch shells because they provide substantial payload and velocity while remaining more comfortable to shoot than 3.5" magnum loads. The Apex PK3-2024 takes this advantage further with its advanced stratified 2/4 shot technology. By combining larger #2 shot for deep penetration on geese with smaller #4 shot for increased pellet count and tighter patterns, this load delivers superior performance across a wide range of hunting scenarios. Whether you’re hunting over decoys, pass-shooting, or targeting late-season birds at longer ranges, the PK3-2024 provides the pattern quality and energy needed for clean, ethical harvests.

Performance and Build Quality
The Apex Ammo PK3-2024 12 Gauge 3" 2oz 2/4 Stratified Shotshells are built to deliver consistent, reliable performance in real-world hunting conditions. The stratified shot column is carefully layered to maximize both pellet count and individual pellet energy, resulting in dense, uniform patterns with excellent lethality. The #2 shot provides the penetration needed for larger geese, while the #4 shot fills out the pattern for better coverage on ducks. Apex Ammunition uses premium components and strict quality control standards to ensure reliable ignition, consistent velocities, and clean-burning performance. This load is particularly well-suited for hunters who want magnum-level performance in a more manageable 3-inch shell, making it an excellent choice for both early and late-season waterfowl hunting.
