The Apex Ammunition Element Dove 12 Gauge 2.75" 7x8 1-1/8oz is a premium dove hunting shotshell specifically engineered for high-volume dove shooting. This load features Apex’s advanced stratified shot technology, combining both #7 and #8 shot sizes in a single shell. With a 1-1/8 ounce payload traveling at an effective velocity, the Element Dove delivers outstanding pattern density, clean kills, and reduced recoil, making it an excellent choice for dove hunters who want consistent performance throughout long days in the field.
Why Choose Apex Ammunition Element Dove Shotshells?
Dove hunting often involves high shot volumes and fast-flying targets at varying distances. Traditional single-size shot loads can leave gaps in the pattern or lack the ideal balance of density and energy. Apex Ammunition’s Element Dove load solves this problem by using a stratified 7x8 shot column that layers #7 and #8 pellets together. This innovative design provides the dense core of smaller #8 shot for close-range doves combined with the superior downrange performance of #7 shot. The result is more consistent breaks, fewer cripples, and higher harvest rates. The 1-1/8 ounce payload offers excellent pattern coverage while keeping recoil manageable during extended shooting sessions.

Performance and Build Quality
The Apex Ammunition Element Dove 12 Gauge is built with the serious dove hunter in mind. The stratified 7x8 shot column is carefully layered to deliver tight, uniform patterns that excel at breaking doves at both close and moderate ranges. This technology helps eliminate the pattern gaps often seen in conventional loads while providing enough pellet energy to cleanly harvest birds at longer distances. The 1-1/8 ounce payload strikes an excellent balance between pattern density and manageable recoil, allowing hunters to maintain accuracy and comfort during fast-paced dove shoots. Apex Ammunition uses premium components and strict quality control to ensure consistent velocities and reliable ignition in a variety of conditions. Whether you’re hunting over decoys, pass shooting, or walking fields, the Element Dove load provides the performance and dependability needed for a successful hunt.
