The Apex Ammunition Element Dove 20 Gauge 2.75" 7x8 1oz is a premium dove hunting shotshell engineered specifically for 20 gauge shotguns. This high-performance load features Apex’s advanced stratified 7x8 shot technology, combining both #7 and #8 shot sizes in a single shell. With a 1-ounce payload in a standard 2-3/4" hull, these shells deliver outstanding pattern density, clean kills, and excellent performance for high-volume dove hunting while taking full advantage of the lighter recoil and faster handling of 20 gauge firearms.
Why Choose Apex Ammunition Element Dove 20 Gauge Shotshells?
Many hunters prefer 20 gauge shotguns for their reduced recoil, lighter weight, and quicker swing speed, especially during long days of dove hunting. However, finding a 20 gauge load that offers both excellent pattern density and sufficient terminal performance has historically been difficult. The Apex Element Dove 20 Gauge solves this challenge with its innovative stratified 7x8 shot column. By layering #7 and #8 pellets together, this load provides the dense core of smaller #8 shot for close-range targets combined with the superior downrange energy of #7 shot. The result is more consistent breaks, fewer cripples, and higher harvest rates. The 1-ounce payload offers an ideal balance of pattern coverage and manageable recoil, making these shells perfect for extended shooting sessions.

Performance and Build Quality
The Apex Ammunition Element Dove 20 Gauge 2.75" is built to deliver maximum performance in 20 gauge platforms. The stratified 7x8 shot column is carefully engineered to produce tight, uniform patterns that excel at breaking doves at both close and moderate ranges. This technology helps eliminate the pattern gaps commonly found in conventional single-size loads while providing enough pellet energy for clean, ethical harvests. The 1-ounce payload is ideal for 20 gauge shooters who want effective performance without the heavy recoil of larger 12 gauge loads. Apex Ammunition uses premium components and strict quality control to ensure consistent velocities, reliable function, and clean-burning performance in a variety of conditions. Whether you’re hunting over decoys, pass shooting, or walking fields, these shells provide the pattern quality and terminal performance serious dove hunters demand from their 20 gauge shotguns.
