The Apex Ammunition Element Dove 20 Gauge 3" 7x8 1-1/8oz is a high-performance dove hunting shotshell specifically designed for 20 gauge enthusiasts. This premium load features Apex’s advanced stratified 7x8 shot technology, combining both #7 and #8 shot sizes in a single shell. With a heavy 1-1/8 ounce payload in a 3-inch hull, these shells deliver exceptional pattern density, clean kills, and outstanding performance for high-volume dove hunting while taking full advantage of the lighter recoil and faster handling characteristics of 20 gauge shotguns.
Why Choose Apex Ammunition Element Dove 20 Gauge Shotshells?
Many hunters prefer 20 gauge shotguns for their reduced recoil and quicker swing speed, especially during long days of dove hunting. However, finding a 20 gauge load with enough payload and pattern density for consistent results on fast-moving doves has traditionally been a challenge. The Apex Element Dove 20 Gauge solves this problem with its innovative stratified 7x8 shot column. By layering #7 and #8 pellets together, this load provides the dense core of smaller #8 shot for close-range targets combined with the superior downrange energy of #7 shot. The 3-inch hull allows for a heavy 1-1/8 ounce payload, giving 20 gauge shooters the performance they need without sacrificing the comfort and speed of their preferred gauge.

Performance and Build Quality
The Apex Ammunition Element Dove 20 Gauge 3" is engineered to deliver maximum performance in 20 gauge shotguns. The stratified 7x8 shot column is carefully layered to produce tight, uniform patterns that excel at breaking doves at both close and moderate ranges. This technology helps eliminate the pattern gaps commonly found in conventional single-size loads while providing enough pellet energy for clean, ethical harvests. The 3-inch hull allows for a substantial 1-1/8 ounce payload, giving 20 gauge shooters the knockdown power they need on tough doves. Apex Ammunition uses premium components and strict quality control to ensure consistent velocities, reliable ignition, and clean-burning performance. Whether you’re hunting over decoys, pass shooting, or walking fields, these shells provide the pattern quality and terminal performance serious dove hunters demand.
