Armaspec Stealth Recoil Spring SRS Gen4 for AR15 & SFAR | Captured Recoil System | Model ARM253-SFAR | UPC 810048494309

The Armaspec Stealth Recoil Spring (SRS) Gen4 is a premium captured recoil spring system designed to dramatically reduce felt recoil, muzzle rise, and operating noise on AR-15 platform rifles, including the Springfield Armory SFAR. Model ARM253-SFAR is the latest Gen4 version of Armaspec’s popular Stealth Recoil Spring, featuring refined engineering for smoother cycling, improved reliability, and enhanced shooter comfort. Unlike traditional buffer springs, the Armaspec SRS uses a captured spring design that eliminates the need for a separate buffer and buffer spring, resulting in a cleaner, quieter, and more consistent shooting experience. Whether you’re building a competition rifle, a home defense carbine, or upgrading your SFAR, this recoil spring upgrade delivers noticeable improvements in recoil management and overall performance.

Advanced Captured Recoil Spring Technology

The Armaspec Stealth Recoil Spring Gen4 utilizes a unique captured spring system that contains the recoil spring within a durable housing. This design prevents the spring from binding or kinking during operation, ensuring smooth and consistent cycling with every shot. The Gen4 version features improved spring rates and materials that provide better energy absorption and faster return to battery compared to earlier generations. By capturing the spring, the SRS also reduces the “twang” commonly associated with standard buffer springs, resulting in a much quieter operation that many shooters appreciate during extended range sessions.

Reduced Recoil and Muzzle Rise

One of the primary benefits of the Armaspec SRS Gen4 is its ability to significantly reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise. The captured spring system absorbs and dissipates recoil energy more efficiently than traditional buffer systems, allowing shooters to maintain better sight picture and faster follow-up shots. This makes the Stealth Recoil Spring an excellent choice for competitive shooters, tactical users, and anyone who wants a softer-shooting AR-15 or SFAR platform. The reduction in muzzle flip is especially noticeable during rapid fire, helping shooters stay on target more effectively.
