As part of Barnes’ VOR-TX LR line, this load is specifically engineered for long-range varmint, predator, and medium game hunting where precision and terminal performance are critical.
Why Choose Barnes VOR-TX LR 22 Creedmoor 65gr LRX?
The Barnes VOR-TX LR series was developed to meet the growing demand for high-performance, lead-free ammunition capable of delivering consistent results at long range. The 22 Creedmoor 65gr LRX load combines the fast, flat-shooting characteristics of the 22 Creedmoor cartridge with Barnes’ proven LRX bullet technology. The 65-grain LRX bullet features a polymer tip for improved ballistic coefficient and reliable expansion, while the all-copper construction ensures 100% weight retention and deep penetration. This makes the Barnes VOR-TX LR 22 Creedmoor an excellent choice for long-range prairie dog hunting, coyote control, and other varmint or predator applications where ethical, one-shot performance is required. With its high velocity and excellent long-range accuracy, this ammunition provides hunters and precision shooters with a dependable lead-free option that performs consistently in the field.

Performance and Handling
The Barnes VOR-TX LR 22 Creedmoor 65gr LRX is optimized for long-range accuracy and terminal performance. The 65-grain LRX bullet is engineered with a high ballistic coefficient, allowing it to maintain velocity and resist wind drift better than traditional varmint bullets. This results in a flatter trajectory and improved hit probability at distances beyond 300 yards.
Because the LRX is constructed entirely of copper, it delivers reliable expansion and deep penetration without the risk of fragmenting or shedding weight like traditional lead-core bullets. This makes it an excellent choice for ethical long-range hunting where clean, one-shot kills are essential. The 22 Creedmoor cartridge provides excellent velocity with relatively low recoil, allowing shooters to maintain accuracy during extended range sessions. Whether you’re engaging prairie dogs at 400+ yards, calling in coyotes at long range, or participating in precision rifle competitions, the Barnes VOR-TX LR 22 Creedmoor 65gr LRX offers the accuracy, consistency, and terminal performance serious shooters demand.
