Why Shooters Choose the Birchwood Casey Rubber Strap Target Hanger
The Birchwood Casey BIR RSTH Rubber Strap Target Hanger is a popular choice among shooters who want the benefits of steel targets without the loud clanging noise associated with metal chain hangers. The rubber straps absorb much of the impact energy, resulting in a noticeably quieter shooting experience. This is especially appreciated at residential ranges, indoor facilities, or when shooting in areas where noise reduction is important. In addition to being quieter, the rubber straps are gentler on steel targets, potentially reducing wear around the mounting holes. The heavy-duty construction ensures the hanger can support the weight of large steel gongs and plates while maintaining its shape and strength over time. Many range owners and frequent steel target shooters prefer rubber strap hangers because they are easier on the ears during extended shooting sessions and require less maintenance than metal chains. The BIR RSTH offers a simple, effective, and long-lasting solution for hanging steel targets safely and efficiently.
Additional benefits include:
- Quieter operation compared to metal chain hangers
- Reduces vibration and target movement on impact
- Heavy-duty rubber construction for long-term durability
- Weather-resistant materials for outdoor use
- Easy to install and replace targets
- Compatible with most AR500 steel targets and gongs
