Three times stronger than steel, the carbon fiber sleeve puts an air pocket between the barrel and carbon, allowing air to flow around the stainless steel inner barrel, further enhancing cooling.
Vent holes in the carbon fiber sleeve lets that internal heat escape, expediting barrel cooling even more. In the end, BSF 6.5 Grendel Carbon Fiber AR-15 Barrels stay cool enough you can hold them with your bare hands, even after running 60 consecutive rounds down them!
