The Clever T2 Competition 12 Gauge 1oz #8 is a premium target shotshell specifically engineered for competitive clay target shooting. This high-performance load (SKU CMCOMP12LH18) features a 1-ounce payload of #8 shot propelled at 1250 feet per second, delivering exceptional pattern density, consistent velocity, and reliable performance. Designed for serious skeet, sporting clays, and trap shooters, the T2 Competition series offers the perfect balance of speed, manageable recoil, and superior pattern quality. The smaller #8 shot size provides a higher pellet count, resulting in denser patterns that are highly effective on close to mid-range targets. Each box contains 25 premium shotshells manufactured to exacting standards for maximum consistency and accuracy.
Optimized for Clay Target Competition
The Clever T2 Competition line is purpose-built for the demands of competitive clay shooting. The 1oz payload of #8 shot offers an excellent combination of pellet count and pattern density, making it especially effective for skeet and sporting clays where targets often appear at closer ranges and require tight, consistent patterns. The 1250 FPS velocity provides a flat trajectory and quick target acquisition while keeping recoil mild enough for extended shooting sessions. Whether you compete in skeet, sporting clays, or trap, these shells deliver the performance needed to maintain focus and break targets consistently throughout a match.
Premium Components and Consistent Performance
Clever is known for producing high-quality ammunition using premium components. The T2 Competition shells feature high-quality hulls, reliable primers, and carefully selected powders that deliver consistent velocities shot after shot. The #8 shot size is a favorite among many competition shooters because it provides a higher pellet count than #7.5, resulting in denser patterns and better coverage on smaller or faster-moving targets. The low-recoil design helps reduce shooter fatigue during long practice sessions and competitions, allowing for better control and follow-through.
