Many of today's handguards designed to fit the AR-15 are slim, trim designs that ride close to the barrel and provide a clean, low-profile look to the gun. However, the use of these handguards requires a low-profile gas block that won't interfere with the forend, and the CMC Triggers Low-Profile AR-15 Gas Block is purpose-built to do just that.

Each CMC Triggers AR-15 Low-Profile Gas Block is designed to fit .750-inch gas journals and is machined from 17-4PH stainless steel right here in the USA. The design is low enough to fit beneath most free-float handguards on the market, allowing shooters to use rifle-length forends on carbine-length barrels for the sleek, streamlined look. The block attached to the barrel with a pair of hex set-screws, and the total weight on the block is 0.66 ounces. The block is compatible with all standard, mil-spec gas tubes.
