Colt LE6933-EPRII-HUX-CK 5.56 NATO 11.5" Upper Receiver Conversion Kit with Hux QD 556 Flash Hider (UPC 098289035677)

The Colt LE6933-EPRII-HUX-CK 5.56 NATO 11.5" Upper Receiver Conversion Kit with Hux QD 556 Flash Hider (UPC 098289035677) is a factory-configured upper receiver assembly designed to convert a standard AR-15 lower receiver into a high-performance short-barreled rifle configuration. Built to the same specifications as Colt’s Enhanced Patrol Rifle G2 platform, this conversion kit features an 11.5-inch barrel and comes equipped with the Huxwrx QD 556 flash hider, which doubles as a quick-detach suppressor mount. This upper receiver kit allows owners of compatible Colt lowers to easily upgrade to a compact, suppressor-ready 5.56 platform without the need to build a custom upper from individual components. Manufactured to Colt’s exacting standards, the LE6933-EPRII-HUX-CK delivers the reliability, accuracy, and durability that professionals expect from a Colt M4-style upper receiver.

This conversion kit is an ideal solution for law enforcement agencies, professional contractors, and civilian shooters who want to add a compact 11.5" upper to their existing Colt lower receiver while gaining quick-detach suppressor capability.

11.5-Inch Barrel for Compact Performance

The heart of this conversion kit is the 11.5-inch barrel. This barrel length significantly reduces the overall length of the rifle compared to standard 16-inch carbines, improving maneuverability in close-quarters environments, vehicles, and confined spaces. The 11.5" barrel maintains excellent ballistic performance with 5.56 NATO ammunition at typical defensive and tactical distances while offering a more compact profile than longer barrels. This length is a popular choice among professionals who require a short, fast-handling rifle without sacrificing too much velocity.

Huxwrx QD 556 Flash Hider / Suppressor Mount

This upper receiver conversion kit comes equipped with the Huxwrx QD 556 flash hider. This muzzle device serves two important functions: it provides excellent flash suppression when the rifle is used unsuppressed, and it acts as a quick-detach mount for compatible Huxwrx (formerly SilencerCo) suppressors. The QD system allows for fast, secure, and repeatable attachment and removal of a suppressor without the use of tools. This feature makes the LE6933-EPRII-HUX-CK especially valuable for users who frequently switch between suppressed and unsuppressed configurations.

Enhanced Patrol Rifle G2 Specifications

The LE6933-EPRII-HUX-CK is built to the Enhanced Patrol Rifle G2 standard. This includes a properly tuned gas system, a high-quality bolt carrier group, and other enhancements developed from Colt’s extensive experience supplying law enforcement and military customers. The G2 configuration reflects real-world feedback from professional users, resulting in improved reliability, durability, and performance under demanding conditions. This upper is designed to work seamlessly with Colt lowers and other mil-spec compatible lower receivers.

Factory-Assembled Quality and Reliability

Unlike aftermarket upper builds, this Colt conversion kit is assembled at the factory under strict quality control standards. Every component is properly headspaced, timed, and tested to ensure reliable function right out of the box. This level of quality control is especially important in short-barreled configurations, where gas system tuning and component fitment are critical for reliable operation. Buyers can be confident that this upper meets Colt’s rigorous standards for performance and safety.
