Dan Wesson has earned a reputation as one of the top producers of high-end 1911 pistols. The Pointman series is specifically designed for shooters who want a classic, no-compromise 1911 with premium features and exceptional fit and finish.

Full-Size Stainless Steel Construction

The Pointman Seven is built with a stainless steel frame and slide, providing excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and a classic, professional appearance. The stainless steel construction not only enhances the pistol’s longevity but also gives it a substantial, high-quality feel in the hand. This material choice makes the Pointman Seven particularly well-suited for both range use and those who want a 1911 that will maintain its appearance over many years of ownership.

Premium Wood Grips

The Pointman Seven comes equipped with beautiful wood grips that provide both classic aesthetics and excellent handling. The wood grips offer a warm, traditional feel while delivering a secure purchase for consistent control during shooting. These grips enhance the pistol’s overall appearance and give it a refined, high-end look that many 1911 enthusiasts prefer over modern polymer or aluminum options.

Classic 5-Inch .45 ACP Performance

Chambered in .45 ACP with a full 5-inch barrel, the Pointman Seven delivers the iconic performance and terminal ballistics that have made the 1911 one of the most respected pistol platforms in history. The 5-inch barrel provides optimal velocity and accuracy from the .45 ACP cartridge while maintaining the classic proportions of a full-size Government model 1911. This configuration is ideal for both competitive shooting and those who simply appreciate the shooting characteristics of a traditional .45 ACP 1911.

Exceptional Fit and Finish

As with all Dan Wesson pistols, the Pointman Seven is built with tight tolerances and exceptional attention to detail. The pistol features a crisp single-action trigger, smooth slide operation, and precise machining throughout.
