Chambered in the hard-hitting 10mm Auto, this model delivers superior stopping power, flat trajectory, and excellent terminal performance, making it an outstanding choice for big game hunting, self-defense, and serious range use. With an 8-round capacity and premium construction, the Razorback stands as one of the most capable production 10mm 1911s available today.

Dan Wesson has earned a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, tight tolerances, and outstanding accuracy. The Razorback model was specifically developed to harness the full potential of the 10mm cartridge while maintaining the smooth operation and ergonomics that have made the 1911 platform legendary for over a century.

Optic Ready Slide for Modern Performance

The Razorback features a factory optic-ready slide, allowing shooters to easily mount a wide variety of red dot sights. This modern upgrade provides faster target acquisition and improved accuracy, especially at longer ranges where the 10mm cartridge excels. Whether running a micro red dot for competition or a larger optic for hunting, the optic-ready design gives users the flexibility to customize their setup without the need for custom milling.

10mm Auto Power and Performance

The 10mm Auto cartridge offers significantly more power than the .45 ACP while maintaining a flatter trajectory and higher velocity. This makes the Razorback an excellent choice for hunting medium to large game, as well as for those who want maximum stopping power for personal defense. The 5-inch barrel maximizes the cartridge’s ballistic potential, delivering impressive energy downrange. The Razorback is built to handle the higher pressures of the 10mm cartridge with ease, ensuring long-term durability and reliable function.

Premium 1911 Construction

Like all Dan Wesson pistols, the Razorback is built with exceptional attention to detail. The pistol features a stainless steel frame and slide, precision-machined components, and a crisp single-action trigger. The 1911 platform’s low bore axis and excellent ergonomics contribute to outstanding shootability, even with the powerful 10mm cartridge. The Razorback is designed for both performance and longevity, making it a reliable choice for serious shooters.

8-Round Capacity

The Razorback comes with 8-round magazines, providing a solid balance of capacity and concealability. The magazines are designed for reliable feeding with a wide variety of 10mm ammunition, including both standard pressure and +P loads. This capacity makes the pistol suitable for both defensive use and extended range sessions.
