FAB Defense FRBS Offset Sights Tan: Side-Mount Backup Iron Sights
The FAB Defense FRBS Offset Rifle Sights Kit Tan (FX-FRBSOST) is a high-quality set of offset folding backup iron sights engineered for AR-15, M4, and other Picatinny rail-equipped rifles. Unlike traditional flip-up backup sights, the FRBS Offset sights mount to the side of the rail, allowing the shooter to simply cant the rifle slightly to engage the iron sights while keeping their primary optic in place. The tan finish provides a tactical, low-visibility appearance that complements many modern rifle builds, especially those with Flat Dark Earth (FDE) or desert-colored components.
FAB Defense is recognized worldwide for producing durable, combat-proven firearm accessories. The FRBS Offset sights combine a lightweight polymer construction with metal components to deliver both strength and reduced weight. When deployed, these sights offer a clear and precise aiming solution, giving shooters a reliable backup option in the event their red dot, holographic, or magnified optic becomes damaged or fails during use.
Key Features of the FAB Defense FRBS Offset Rifle Sights Kit Tan

Tan Tactical Finish
Desert tan color provides a professional, low-visibility look that matches FDE and tan rifle builds.
Low-Profile Folding Mechanism
Sights fold completely down when not in use, maintaining a slim and streamlined rifle profile.
Fast Spring-Loaded Deployment

Why Choose the FAB Defense FRBS Offset Rifle Sights Kit Tan
The FAB Defense FRBS Offset Rifle Sights Kit Tan (FX-FRBSOST) offers a smart and practical solution for shooters who want reliable backup iron sights without adding height or bulk to their primary optic setup. Traditional flip-up sights can sometimes interfere with certain optic mounts or create unnecessary snag points. The offset design solves this issue by positioning the sights to the side of the rail, allowing for a fast and natural transition simply by rotating the rifle slightly.
The tan color option makes this sight kit especially popular among shooters building FDE or multi-tone tactical rifles. It provides better visual cohesion compared to black sights on tan-colored firearms. The durable construction and positive locking mechanism ensure the sights remain securely in place whether folded or deployed. Whether used for home defense, duty use, competition, or general range work, the FAB Defense FRBS Offset sights deliver a dependable backup aiming solution that enhances the overall versatility of your rifle.
Additional benefits include:
- Low-profile offset design that doesn’t interfere with primary optics
- Tan finish for better color matching on FDE and desert rifle builds
- Secure locking mechanism in both folded and upright positions
- Lightweight yet rugged polymer and metal construction
- Easy installation on any standard Picatinny rail
- Quick transition between optic and iron sights
- Combat-proven reliability from FAB Defense
