Each pack includes nine individual wide rail covers, giving you ample coverage for full-length handguards, extended forends, or multiple firearms. The innovative locking mechanism ensures the covers remain securely in place during intense use, while still allowing quick removal when mounting accessories. Whether you’re building a tactical rifle, competition carbine, or simply want to improve the ergonomics of your current setup, the FAB Defense Wide Locking Rail Covers offer a professional-grade solution that enhances both comfort and functionality.

FAB Defense has earned a strong reputation for producing durable and practical tactical accessories, and the FX-MALC2B wide rail covers continue that tradition with a focus on user comfort and secure fitment.

Wide Profile for Maximum Comfort

The FX-MALC2B features a noticeably wider design compared to standard slim rail covers. This wider profile provides greater hand coverage and a thicker, more comfortable gripping surface. Shooters who prefer a fuller, more substantial feel in their support hand will appreciate the added width, which helps reduce pressure points during extended shooting sessions. The wider design is especially beneficial for those with larger hands or for rifles with aggressive rail systems that can cause discomfort during prolonged use.

Secure Locking Mechanism

These rail covers utilize a robust locking system that firmly secures each piece to the Picatinny rail. Once installed, the covers resist shifting, sliding, or falling off during rapid fire, movement, or when the rifle is being carried. This positive lock provides consistent hand placement and eliminates the common issue of rail covers moving out of position. Despite the strong hold, the covers can still be quickly removed or repositioned when you need to attach lights, lasers, bipods, or other accessories.

Superior Hand Protection

Exposed Picatinny rails can cause discomfort, abrasions, and even cuts during extended use. The FX-MALC2B wide rail covers create a smooth, contoured surface that protects your hands while offering a more positive and comfortable grip. The increased width provides better cushioning compared to narrower covers, making them ideal for high-volume shooters, competition shooters, and anyone who spends long hours behind their rifle. They also help prevent clothing and gear from snagging on the sharp edges of the rails.

Durable High-Strength Polymer

Constructed from high-quality, impact-resistant polymer, these rail covers are built to withstand demanding use. They are resistant to chemicals, temperature extremes, and repeated handling. The lightweight yet durable material adds minimal weight to your rifle while providing long-lasting protection for both your hands and your Picatinny rails. The polymer construction also helps reduce heat transfer from the barrel and rail system during high-volume shooting.

Easy Installation and Versatility

Installation is simple and requires no tools. Align each cover with the Picatinny rail and press down until it locks securely into place. The covers can be positioned anywhere along the rail and easily removed or relocated as your setup changes. This flexibility makes the FX-MALC2B ideal for rifles that are frequently reconfigured for different roles, such as competition, home defense, or training.
