Built for competitive shooters who want a factory-ready platform, the Fusion XP Comp combines a longer barrel for improved velocity and sight radius with an innovative ambidextrous thumbrest that promotes a high, consistent grip. The black finish and modern design make it both functional and visually appealing on the range. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or an aspiring shooter looking for a high-capacity, optics-ready 9mm competition pistol, the XP-COMP-9-BLK-TR offers excellent value and performance.

Ambidextrous Thumbrest for Superior Grip and Control

One of the standout features of the Fusion XP Comp is its ambidextrous thumbrest. This innovative design allows shooters to place their support hand thumb in a consistent, repeatable position, which is critical for maintaining proper grip pressure and minimizing muzzle flip during rapid fire. The ambidextrous nature of the thumbrest makes this pistol equally effective for both right-handed and left-handed competitors, as well as for shooters who use a thumbs-forward grip style.

The thumbrest helps promote a higher grip on the frame, which reduces recoil and allows for faster follow-up shots. This feature is especially beneficial in competition environments where speed and accuracy are equally important. The design reflects Fusion’s commitment to creating competition-ready firearms that address real-world shooter needs.

Competition-Ready Design and Optics Compatibility

The Fusion XP Comp is built with competition in mind. The 4.6-inch barrel provides increased muzzle velocity and a longer sight radius, which helps improve accuracy at longer distances commonly found in many competition stages. The pistol features an optics-ready slide, allowing users to mount popular micro red dot sights for even faster target acquisition and enhanced performance.

In addition to the ambidextrous thumbrest, the XP Comp includes other competition-oriented features such as an enhanced trigger, extended magazine release, and aggressive texturing on the grip for a secure hold during rapid fire. The 17-round magazine capacity gives competitors an advantage by reducing the number of reloads needed during stages. The black finish provides a professional appearance while reducing glare on the range.
