Whether you’re hunting whitetails in the timber, chasing coyotes across open country, or pursuing other game, the RT4-3171 delivers reliable performance by preventing lost or dropped calls during critical moments.
Premium Retractable Deer and Varmint Call Lanyard
Deer and varmint hunters often carry multiple calls during a hunt, including grunt tubes, can calls, mouth calls, and predator calls. Traditional lanyards frequently become twisted and tangled, slowing down your ability to switch calls quickly when an animal responds. The Gear Keeper RT4-3171 solves this common problem with a smooth, high-strength retractable system. Each call extends when needed and retracts cleanly when not in use, keeping your calls neatly organized and ready for action throughout the hunt.

Why Choose the Gear Keeper Retractable Deer/Varmint Call Lanyard?
The Gear Keeper RT4-3171 stands out from standard call lanyards because of its reliable retractable mechanism and rugged construction. Deer and predator hunting often involves long hikes, thick brush, and unpredictable movement. Traditional lanyards can easily become tangled or caught while moving through the woods or across open terrain. This model keeps your calls neatly retracted against your body until you need them, then allows smooth extension for calling sequences. The durable build ensures it will perform season after season in the harsh conditions commonly encountered during deer and varmint seasons.
Ideal Applications
This retractable call lanyard is perfect for hunters who carry multiple deer and varmint calls during a hunt. It excels when using grunt calls, bleat calls, and rattling systems for deer, as well as mouth calls and electronic call setups for coyotes and other predators. The RT4-3171 is especially valuable for hunters who move frequently through thick cover or rocky terrain where traditional lanyards often become caught or tangled. It is also popular among serious deer hunters and predator callers who need fast, reliable access to their calls in demanding environments. Whether you’re still-hunting, sitting in a treestand, or actively calling predators, this lanyard keeps your calls organized and within easy reach.

The overall design focuses on durability, functionality, and ease of use in real-world hunting conditions. Hunters can count on this lanyard to perform consistently in rain, snow, and freezing temperatures without failure.
