The HEVI-XII 12 Gauge 3" 1.375 oz #2 Tungsten Shot Shells HS51212 represent the pinnacle of modern waterfowl and turkey ammunition. Manufactured by HEVI-Shot, these premium high-density tungsten loads deliver unmatched downrange performance compared to traditional steel ammunition. With a heavy 1.375-ounce payload of #2 tungsten shot in a 3-inch hull, the HEVI-XII offers exceptional pattern density, superior penetration, and outstanding energy retention, making it one of the most effective non-toxic options available for serious waterfowl hunters.
Why Choose HEVI-XII 12 Gauge #2 Tungsten Shells?
Waterfowl hunters, especially those pursuing large geese at extended ranges, demand ammunition that maintains lethal energy far beyond the capabilities of standard steel loads. HEVI-XII tungsten shot is approximately 30% denser than steel, allowing the larger #2 pellets to carry significantly more velocity and kinetic energy downrange. This results in deeper penetration and more consistent kills on big birds like Canada geese, snow geese, and specklebellies. The heavy 1.375 oz payload combined with the high pellet count of #2 shot creates devastating pattern density while still delivering the individual pellet energy needed for clean, ethical harvests at longer distances.

Performance and Build Quality
The HEVI-XII 12 Gauge 3" 1.375 oz #2 Tungsten shells are engineered for serious waterfowl hunters who demand maximum performance. Because tungsten is significantly denser than steel, the #2 pellets retain velocity and energy much farther downrange, delivering lethal performance at distances where steel loads begin to lose effectiveness. This makes the HS51212 an outstanding choice for pass shooting geese and ducks in open fields or over large bodies of water. HEVI-Shot uses premium components, including high-quality hulls, reliable primers, and clean-burning powder, to ensure consistent velocities and dependable ignition in cold and wet conditions. Hunters consistently report tighter patterns, deeper penetration, and more consistent kills compared to standard steel loads of the same gauge and length.
