22-Inch Barrel
The longer 22-inch barrel maximizes muzzle velocity and extends effective range, providing a flatter trajectory and increased energy downrange compared to shorter barrels.
Lightweight & Ergonomic Design

Ideal Hunting Applications
The Horizon Venatic DM 7 PRC 22" is an outstanding choice for hunters who want to maximize the long-range potential of the 7 PRC cartridge. The 22-inch barrel provides higher muzzle velocity than shorter barrels, resulting in a flatter trajectory and increased energy at extended ranges. This makes the rifle particularly effective for elk, mule deer, black bear, and other big game at distances beyond 600 yards. The added barrel length is especially beneficial for hunters who frequently shoot across open country or in mountainous terrain where longer shots are common. Many hunters appreciate the 7 PRC’s balance of power and manageable recoil, allowing for accurate follow-up shots when needed. Whether you’re hunting from a treestand, ground blind, or during a demanding backcountry hunt, the Venatic DM with the 22-inch barrel provides the accuracy, velocity, and terminal performance serious long-range hunters demand.
This rifle is also well-suited for long-range target shooting and precision rifle competitions.
