Why Choose the Howa Carbon Stalker 2 6.5 PRC?
The Howa Carbon Stalker 2 represents the next evolution in lightweight precision rifle design. By utilizing a carbon fiber wrapped barrel, Howa has dramatically reduced the overall weight of the rifle while maintaining excellent rigidity, heat dissipation, and long-range accuracy. The HCBN65PRCSBTG model is chambered in 6.5 PRC, a modern high-performance cartridge designed specifically for long-range hunting and precision shooting. The 6.5 PRC offers superior ballistic performance with heavy-for-caliber bullets, high velocity, and excellent energy retention at distance, making it an outstanding choice for elk, moose, caribou, and other large game at extended ranges. The 24-inch barrel maximizes the cartridge’s velocity potential while the carbon fiber construction keeps the rifle light enough for backcountry hunts. With its synthetic stock, smooth bolt action, and precision engineering, the Carbon Stalker 2 offers hunters a reliable, accurate, and comfortable shooting experience in a package optimized for long-range performance.

Performance and Handling
The Howa Carbon Stalker 2 6.5 PRC excels in long-range hunting and precision shooting applications. The carbon fiber barrel technology dramatically reduces the rifle’s overall weight compared to traditional steel barrels, allowing hunters to carry the rifle comfortably over long distances and difficult terrain without fatigue. Despite the reduced weight, the barrel maintains excellent rigidity, resulting in outstanding accuracy and consistent shot placement at extended ranges.
Chambered in 6.5 PRC, this rifle delivers impressive velocity and flat trajectory with heavy bullets, providing excellent long-range performance and terminal ballistics on large game. The smooth bolt action cycles reliably and quickly, while the two-stage trigger provides a clean, crisp break for precise shot placement. The synthetic stock is designed for comfort and stability, with a textured grip that performs well in various weather conditions. The 24-inch barrel maximizes the 6.5 PRC’s velocity potential, making it an outstanding choice for hunters who need to reach out to longer distances with authority. Whether pursuing elk in the mountains, moose in the timber, or shooting long-range targets, the Howa Carbon Stalker 2 offers the perfect combination of portability, power, and precision.
