High-Capacity 50-Round Magazine
One of the most standout features of the Kel-Tec KP50 is its enormous 50-round magazine capacity. This quad-stack magazine allows shooters to enjoy extended shooting sessions with minimal reloading. The 50-round capacity makes the KP50 particularly appealing for range use, competition shooting, and anyone who wants maximum firepower in a pistol platform. The magazine is designed for reliable feeding and is easy to load despite its high capacity.
9.6-Inch Threaded Barrel
The KP50 is equipped with a 9.6-inch threaded barrel, making it suppressor-ready right out of the box. The longer barrel helps maximize the velocity of the 5.7x28mm cartridge, improving both accuracy and terminal performance. The threading allows users to easily attach a variety of 5.7x28mm suppressors for reduced noise and recoil. This feature makes the KP50 an excellent choice for suppressed shooting, training, and recreational use where noise reduction is desired.

Kel-Tec is known for pushing the boundaries of firearm design with innovative, high-capacity platforms. The KP50 continues this tradition by offering one of the highest magazine capacities available in a production pistol. The combination of the 5.7x28mm cartridge’s flat trajectory and low recoil with a 50-round magazine creates a firearm that is both fun and practical for extended shooting sessions. The threaded barrel adds versatility for those who want to run the pistol suppressed. With its lightweight polymer frame and modern features, the KP50 stands out as a unique and capable option in the 5.7x28mm pistol market.
Performance and Handling
The 5.7x28mm cartridge is known for its high velocity and relatively low recoil, making the KP50 comfortable to shoot even with its high capacity. The longer 9.6-inch barrel helps stabilize the round and improves accuracy at distance compared to shorter-barreled 5.7mm pistols. The optics-ready design allows shooters to take full advantage of modern red dot sights for faster target acquisition. Whether used for fun at the range or as a specialized high-capacity platform, the Kel-Tec KP50 offers a distinctive shooting experience.
Built for High-Capacity Shooting
The KP50 was designed with high-volume shooting in mind. The 50-round magazine significantly reduces downtime between reloads, allowing shooters to focus more on training and less on magazine changes. The reliable feeding system and robust construction ensure consistent performance even during extended range sessions. This makes the KP50 an excellent choice for competitive shooters, instructors, and anyone who enjoys shooting large volumes of ammunition in a single session.
