With a 9-round magazine capacity, the Kimber 1911 Next Gen Pro delivers the legendary ergonomics and accuracy of the 1911 platform while incorporating modern upgrades that serious shooters demand.

Kimber continues to lead the industry in premium 1911 manufacturing, and the Next Gen Pro series represents the brand’s commitment to evolving the iconic platform with contemporary enhancements.

Matte Stainless Finish

This model features a rugged matte stainless finish that provides excellent corrosion resistance and a professional, non-reflective appearance. Unlike polished stainless steel, the matte finish reduces glare, making it ideal for both tactical applications and everyday carry. The durable coating protects the pistol from the elements while maintaining a sleek, modern look that pairs well with the optics-ready slide.

Optics-Ready Slide

The Kimber 1911 Next Gen Pro comes with an optics-ready slide, allowing users to easily mount popular red dot sights such as the Trijicon RMR, Holosun, or other micro optics. This modern feature enables faster target acquisition and improved accuracy, especially in low-light conditions. The optics-ready design makes this pistol highly versatile for both competitive shooters and those who prefer the speed and precision of a red dot sight.

Ambidextrous Controls

One of the standout features of this model is the inclusion of ambidextrous controls. The ambidextrous thumb safety and slide stop allow both left- and right-handed shooters to operate the pistol comfortably and efficiently. This feature significantly improves usability for left-handed shooters and provides added versatility for instructors, competitive shooters, and anyone who values true ambidextrous functionality in a 1911 platform.

Compact 4-Inch Barrel in 9mm

Chambered in 9mm Luger with a 4-inch barrel, this Next Gen Pro model offers a compact size that is easier to carry and conceal compared to full-size 5-inch 1911s. The 9mm caliber provides lower recoil than traditional .45 ACP while still delivering excellent terminal performance. The 4-inch barrel maintains good velocity and accuracy, making this pistol well-suited for both defensive carry and range use.

Premium Kimber Craftsmanship

Kimber is renowned for its attention to detail and high-quality manufacturing. The 1911 Next Gen Pro features tight tolerances, a crisp trigger, and the excellent ergonomics that have made the 1911 platform a favorite for over a century. The matte stainless finish enhances durability while the modern optics-ready design and ambidextrous controls bring the classic 1911 into the current era of handgun technology.
