Chambered in .45 ACP with an 8-round single-stack magazine, this model combines the legendary accuracy of the Premier II series with a heavier frame and slide designed to significantly reduce felt recoil. The Heavyweight version is ideal for shooters who want maximum control and comfort while shooting the powerful .45 ACP cartridge.

Why the Les Baer Premier II Heavyweight Stands Out

The Les Baer Premier II Heavyweight .45 ACP stands out because of its unique Heavyweight construction. Unlike standard Premier II models, the Heavyweight version features a thicker, heavier frame and slide that adds substantial mass. This extra weight helps tame the recoil of the .45 ACP, resulting in faster follow-up shots, improved accuracy during rapid fire, and greater overall shootability. Combined with Les Baer’s world-renowned hand-fitting and match-grade components, this pistol delivers exceptional precision and a noticeably softer shooting experience than lighter 1911s.
