Mad Pig Customs has earned a strong reputation for transforming classic Marlin lever guns into modern, high-performance firearms. This 1894 model showcases their attention to detail and commitment to blending traditional lever-action design with contemporary features.

16.1-Inch Threaded Barrel

The 16.1-inch threaded barrel is one of the most important upgrades on this Mad Pig Customs 1894. The shorter barrel significantly improves maneuverability and makes the rifle easier to handle in tight spaces, vehicles, or during dynamic shooting situations. The threaded muzzle allows for easy installation of a suppressor or muzzle device, making this rifle an excellent choice for suppressed shooting. Despite its compact length, the barrel maintains excellent accuracy and takes full advantage of the .357 Magnum cartridge’s ballistic potential.

Olive Drab Green and Black Finish

This Mad Pig Customs 1894 features a professional Olive Drab Green and black two-tone finish. The ODG color provides a modern tactical appearance while offering excellent corrosion resistance and reduced visibility in outdoor environments. The contrasting black components create a sharp, aggressive look that sets this rifle apart from standard factory Marlin 1894 models. The durable finish is built to withstand harsh conditions while maintaining its appearance over time.

Midwest Industries Sights

Equipped with premium Midwest Industries sights, this custom 1894 offers fast and precise target acquisition. Midwest Industries is well-known for producing high-quality, durable sighting systems that perform reliably in demanding conditions. These sights enhance the rifle’s effectiveness for both defensive and recreational use, providing a clear and consistent sight picture in various lighting environments.

Mad Dog Custom Grip

The Mad Dog Custom Grip is another standout feature of this build. This aftermarket grip provides improved ergonomics and a more secure hold compared to standard factory grips. The custom grip enhances control during rapid lever cycling and helps reduce felt recoil, making the rifle more comfortable and accurate to shoot, especially during extended range sessions.

.357 Magnum Performance and 8-Round Capacity

Chambered in .357 Magnum, this Marlin 1894 can also safely fire .38 Special ammunition, giving shooters excellent versatility. The .357 Magnum offers significant stopping power and is a popular choice for both personal defense and hunting. The 8-round tubular magazine provides substantial capacity for a lever-action rifle, allowing for extended shooting without frequent reloading.
