Ol Man Big Daddy 1.5 Person Ladder Stand 22 ft | Heavy-Duty Tall Hunting Tree Stand | Model OT-301
The Ol Man Big Daddy 1.5 Person Ladder Stand 22 ft is a premium, heavy-duty hunting tree stand built for hunters who demand maximum height and reliable performance. Standing at an impressive 22 feet tall, the Ol Man Big Daddy (model OT-301) delivers exceptional elevation while offering a spacious and comfortable platform designed specifically for one hunter plus gear. This 1.5-person version provides more room than standard single-person stands, making it an excellent choice for hunters who like extra space for equipment, movement, or longer sits in the field.
Maximum 22-Foot Hunting Height
At 22 feet tall, the Ol Man Big Daddy offers one of the highest vantage points available in a traditional ladder stand. This extreme height helps hunters stay well above thick underbrush, brush lines, and terrain features that can obstruct visibility at lower elevations. The added height provides a significant advantage when hunting in open timber, along field edges, or in heavily pressured areas where mature game animals have learned to look for danger at lower levels.
Spacious 1.5 Person Platform Design
The Big Daddy 1.5 Person model features a larger platform than standard single-person ladder stands. This extra room allows hunters to comfortably stand, turn, and adjust their position without feeling cramped. The generous platform size is ideal for hunters who carry extra gear, use shooting sticks, or simply prefer more space while waiting for game. The 1.5-person designation makes this stand more versatile than traditional single seats while still maintaining excellent stability at height.
Comfortable Padded Seat with Backrest
Unlike many basic ladder stands, the Ol Man Big Daddy 1.5 Person includes a comfortable padded seat with back support. This design allows hunters to remain in the stand for extended periods without excessive fatigue. The padded seat and backrest are especially beneficial during all-day sits or when hunting in cold weather when staying still for long periods is necessary. The ergonomic design helps maintain proper posture and reduces pressure points during long hunts.
Heavy-Duty Construction for Superior Stability
Built with heavy-gauge steel, the Ol Man Big Daddy is engineered for strength and long-term durability. The wide ladder design and reinforced platform provide exceptional stability, even at its full 22-foot height. The stand is finished with a weather-resistant powder coating that protects against rust and corrosion, ensuring it remains reliable through years of exposure to the elements. This robust construction gives hunters confidence when climbing to and hunting from such an elevated position.
