Ol Man Big Daddy Ladder Stand 22 ft | Heavy-Duty Tall Hunting Tree Stand | Model OT-204
The Ol Man Big Daddy Ladder Stand 22 ft is a premium, heavy-duty hunting tree stand built for hunters who demand maximum height and rock-solid stability. Standing at an impressive 22 feet tall, the Ol Man Big Daddy (model OT-204) provides exceptional elevation that helps hunters stay well above the line of sight of game animals. Designed with serious hunters in mind, this ladder stand combines a large, comfortable platform with a durable steel construction that can handle the demands of repeated use season after season.
Maximum 22-Foot Hunting Height
At 22 feet tall, the Ol Man Big Daddy offers one of the highest vantage points available in a traditional ladder stand. This extreme height is ideal for hunters who need to get well above thick underbrush, brush lines, or terrain features that can obstruct visibility at lower elevations. The added height provides a significant advantage when hunting in open timber, along field edges, or in areas where game animals are particularly wary of lower stands.
Spacious Platform and Comfortable Seating
The Big Daddy features a large, roomy platform that gives hunters plenty of space to stand, turn, and adjust their position comfortably. The oversized seat is designed for all-day comfort, allowing hunters to remain in the stand for extended periods without fatigue. Whether you’re waiting for that perfect shot opportunity or glassing the area for approaching game, the generous dimensions of the Big Daddy make long sits much more enjoyable.
Heavy-Duty Construction for Maximum Stability
Built with heavy-gauge steel, the Ol Man Big Daddy is engineered for strength and durability. The wide ladder design and reinforced platform provide exceptional stability, even at its full 22-foot height. The stand is finished with a weather-resistant coating that protects against rust and corrosion, ensuring it remains reliable through years of exposure to the elements. This robust construction gives hunters confidence when climbing to and hunting from such an elevated position.

Why Choose the Ol Man Big Daddy Ladder Stand?
The Ol Man Big Daddy stands out from standard ladder stands due to its impressive 22-foot height and heavy-duty construction. Many hunters find that the extra height provides a noticeable advantage in heavily pressured areas or when hunting mature bucks that have learned to look for danger at lower elevations. The spacious platform and comfortable seat also set this stand apart from more basic models, allowing hunters to remain comfortable and focused during long sits. Ol Man has a reputation for building practical, hunter-tested equipment, and the Big Daddy continues that tradition with its focus on height, stability, and comfort.
Built for Serious Hunters
Whether you’re a dedicated whitetail hunter looking for every possible advantage or someone who simply wants the highest, most stable ladder stand available, the Ol Man Big Daddy delivers. Its tall profile and robust build make it a favorite among hunters who regularly hunt from extreme heights. When properly installed and used with the included safety harness, the Big Daddy provides a secure and effective hunting platform season after season.
Stability at Extreme Height
One of the biggest concerns with very tall ladder stands is stability. The Ol Man Big Daddy addresses this with a wide ladder base and reinforced construction that minimizes sway even at its full 22-foot height. This stability is critical for making accurate shots and feeling secure while hunting from such an elevated position.
