Why Choose the ProTech Newport Lefthand 3" SW 3405-LH?
The ProTech Newport Lefthand 3" SW 3405-LH was developed to solve a common problem for left-handed knife users. Most automatic knives are designed exclusively for right-handed operation, which can make deployment awkward or even unsafe for lefties. The 3405-LH features a left-hand specific configuration that allows for smooth and natural blade deployment when carried and operated with the left hand. The stonewashed blade finish provides a rugged, non-reflective appearance that helps reduce glare and hides fingerprints and wear. The 3-inch plain edge blade offers excellent cutting versatility for everyday tasks while remaining practical for daily carry. Whether you’re a left-handed professional, an everyday carry enthusiast, or a collector looking for a rare left-hand automatic, the Newport Lefthand 3405-LH delivers genuine left-handed functionality without compromising on quality or performance.

Performance and Handling
The ProTech Newport Lefthand 3" SW 3405-LH is engineered specifically for left-handed users who have long been underserved by the knife industry. The left-hand configuration allows for natural and intuitive blade deployment when the knife is carried in the left pocket and operated with the left hand. This makes the 3405-LH significantly more comfortable and safer to use compared to right-handed automatics operated by lefties.
The stonewashed blade finish not only enhances its tactical appearance but also helps minimize reflective glare. The plain edge blade excels at clean, precise cutting tasks such as opening packages, cutting cord, and general utility work. ProTech’s automatic mechanism provides fast and consistent blade deployment, while the strong lockup ensures the blade remains securely in place once opened. The handle is shaped for comfortable left-handed use, offering a secure grip without the awkward feel that many left-handed users experience with standard right-hand knives. Whether carried as a primary everyday knife or used professionally, the Newport Lefthand 3405-LH delivers reliable performance tailored to left-handed users.
