Advanced No Filter Technology
The Q No Filter Short Chop 8.6 Blackout utilizes Q’s proprietary high-flow baffle system, optimized for the heavy-hitting 8.6 Blackout cartridge in a shortened format. The No Filter design philosophy prioritizes efficient gas flow, significantly reducing back pressure compared to traditional suppressors. This results in less gas directed toward the shooter, reduced recoil, and a more comfortable shooting experience. Despite its compact size, the Short Chop maintains impressive sound attenuation, making it an excellent choice for short-barreled 8.6 Blackout rifles where overall length and weight are critical factors.

Why Choose the Q LLC No Filter Short Chop 8.6 Blackout Suppressor?
Q Suppressors designed the No Filter Short Chop to meet the needs of shooters who want the benefits of suppression on 8.6 Blackout platforms but require the shortest possible overall length. The 8.6 Blackout cartridge is popular for its heavy subsonic performance in short barrels, and the Short Chop complements this by keeping the suppressor as compact as possible while still providing meaningful sound reduction. The high-flow No Filter design ensures that users experience less back pressure and gas to the face, which is especially important on short-barreled rifles. This suppressor is ideal for those who prioritize maneuverability and handling without completely sacrificing suppression performance.
Ideal Applications
The Q LLC No Filter Short Chop 8.6 Blackout is an excellent choice for applications where overall length and weight are critical. It performs exceptionally well on short-barreled 8.6 Blackout rifles, SBRs, and pistol configurations. The compact size makes it highly maneuverable for hunting, tactical use, home defense, and dynamic shooting scenarios. The reduced back pressure of the No Filter design makes it particularly comfortable during high-volume training or rapid follow-up shots. Hunters using 8.6 Blackout will appreciate the quieter report in a package that doesn’t add excessive length to their rifle. It is also well-suited for suppressed competition shooting where a shorter overall package is advantageous.
