Advanced No Filter Technology for Left-Handed Shooters
The Q No Filter Southpaw 5.56 utilizes Q’s proprietary high-flow baffle system, designed to optimize gas dynamics and minimize back pressure. Traditional suppressors often direct excessive gas and pressure back toward the shooter, which can be particularly problematic for left-handed users due to the location of the ejection port and charging handle. The No Filter design allows for more efficient gas flow, resulting in noticeably less gas blowback, reduced recoil impulse, and improved overall comfort. The Southpaw is purpose-built to address the unique needs of left-handed shooters while maintaining excellent sound suppression performance.

Why Choose the Q LLC No Filter Southpaw 5.56 Suppressor?
Q Suppressors developed the No Filter Southpaw to solve a common problem faced by left-handed shooters: excessive gas blowback when using traditional suppressors. Because left-handed shooters position their face closer to the ejection port on standard right-hand rifles, they often experience more gas and debris directed toward them. The Southpaw’s high-flow No Filter design significantly reduces this issue while still providing excellent sound suppression. This makes it one of the most shooter-friendly 5.56 suppressors available for left-handed users who want the benefits of suppression without the discomfort of constant gas exposure.
Ideal Applications
The Q LLC No Filter Southpaw 5.56 is an excellent choice for left-handed shooters running AR-15 platforms and other 5.56 rifles. It performs exceptionally well for tactical training, competitive shooting, home defense, and recreational range use. The reduced back pressure makes it particularly comfortable during high-volume shooting sessions and rapid follow-up shots. Left-handed hunters will also appreciate the quieter report and reduced gas exposure when taking game. Whether used on a standard AR-15 or a dedicated left-hand rifle, the Southpaw provides a noticeable improvement in shooter comfort compared to conventional 5.56 suppressors.
