Advanced Recoil Reduction Technology
The Radian Afterburner + Ramjet system utilizes a unique combination of a precision-machined barrel and an integrated micro compensator. The Ramjet barrel features a specially designed gas porting system that works in conjunction with the Afterburner compensator to redirect propellant gases upward, effectively counteracting muzzle flip. This results in faster target reacquisition and improved accuracy during rapid fire. Unlike traditional compensators that add significant length, the Afterburner is designed to sit nearly flush with the slide, preserving the concealability and balance of the Glock 19 and Glock 45.
Match-Grade Ramjet Barrel
At the heart of this system is the Radian Ramjet barrel, manufactured from premium stainless steel and precision machined for exceptional accuracy. The barrel features a match-grade bore and rifling that delivers outstanding precision out of the box. The integrated gas ports are strategically placed to optimize gas flow into the Afterburner compensator, maximizing recoil reduction without sacrificing reliability. The black finish provides excellent corrosion resistance and a low-visibility appearance that matches modern tactical firearms.

Why Choose the Radian Afterburner + Ramjet?
The Radian Afterburner + Ramjet stands out as one of the most effective recoil reduction systems available for Glock pistols without requiring a threaded barrel or adding excessive length. Many shooters report a 30-50% reduction in felt recoil and muzzle flip compared to a standard Glock 19. This makes it an outstanding upgrade for both competitive shooting disciplines such as USPSA and IDPA, as well as for defensive pistol training where rapid, accurate follow-up shots are critical. The system is also popular among concealed carry permit holders who want improved shootability without sacrificing the compact size of their Glock 19.
Ideal Applications
The Radian Weapons Afterburner + Ramjet is ideal for competitive shooters looking for a competitive edge, law enforcement officers who want better control during high-stress situations, and civilian shooters who want to maximize the performance of their Glock 19 or Glock 45. It is particularly well-suited for those who shoot +P defensive ammunition regularly, as the compensator helps tame the increased recoil of hotter loads. The black finish also makes it a popular choice for those building custom or duty-grade Glock pistols.
Quality and Reliability
Radian Weapons is known for producing high-quality, precision-engineered components for modern sporting rifles and pistols. The Afterburner + Ramjet system is manufactured using advanced machining techniques and undergoes rigorous quality control to ensure consistent performance. The drop-in design means no gunsmithing is required, and the system maintains the reliability and safety standards that Glock pistols are known for when properly installed.
