Retay Ace-R 20 Gauge 28" Gamekeeper Semi-Automatic Shotgun B-RACEGMKPR-28 (UPC 193212037015)

The Retay Ace-R 20 Gauge 28" Gamekeeper Semi-Automatic Shotgun B-RACEGMKPR-28 (UPC 193212037015) is a high-performance inertia-driven shotgun designed for serious upland and waterfowl hunters. Built by Retay, a Turkish manufacturer known for producing reliable and feature-rich shotguns, the Ace-R Gamekeeper model combines smooth cycling, reduced recoil, and excellent ergonomics in a lightweight 20-gauge platform. With its 28-inch barrel and Gamekeeper finish, this shotgun is optimized for hunters who demand both performance and value in the field.

The Retay Ace-R utilizes an advanced inertia operating system that delivers fast, reliable cycling with a wide range of 20-gauge ammunition. The 20-gauge platform offers an excellent balance of pattern density and manageable recoil, making it ideal for extended hunts where multiple shots may be required. Whether you’re pursuing pheasants, quail, doves, or waterfowl, the Ace-R Gamekeeper provides the speed, reliability, and handling characteristics that modern hunters expect from a premium semi-automatic shotgun.

Advanced Inertia-Driven Action

The Retay Ace-R features a proven inertia-driven operating system that is both simple and highly reliable. Unlike gas-operated shotguns, the inertia system has fewer parts to clean and maintain, resulting in greater long-term durability and consistent performance even in harsh field conditions. The action cycles smoothly with both light target loads and heavy magnum loads, giving hunters versatility across different hunting scenarios.

The inertia system also helps reduce felt recoil compared to many gas-operated designs, allowing shooters to stay on target more effectively during follow-up shots. This makes the Ace-R particularly well-suited for fast-paced upland hunting where quick target acquisition and rapid shooting are essential.

28-Inch Barrel for Optimal Performance

The Retay Ace-R Gamekeeper is equipped with a 28-inch barrel, which provides an excellent balance between swing speed and pattern performance. The longer barrel helps generate higher muzzle velocity while maintaining a smooth, natural swing that is ideal for crossing shots on upland birds. The ventilated rib aids in quick target acquisition and helps reduce heat mirage during extended shooting sessions.

The shotgun comes with a set of interchangeable choke tubes, allowing hunters to customize their pattern for different game species and hunting conditions. Whether you need a wide-open pattern for close-range flushing birds or a tighter pattern for longer shots on waterfowl, the Ace-R Gamekeeper can be easily adapted to meet your needs.

Gamekeeper Finish and Ergonomics

The Gamekeeper model features a durable synthetic stock and forend finished in a practical camouflage pattern that helps the shotgun blend into natural hunting environments. The stock is designed with a comfortable pistol grip and a length of pull that promotes quick shouldering and consistent cheek weld. The overall design emphasizes handling speed and comfort during long days in the field.

Retay has paid close attention to the ergonomics of the Ace-R, resulting in a shotgun that feels natural in the hands and points instinctively. The controls are well-placed and easy to operate, even when wearing gloves, making this shotgun a practical choice for hunters who spend extended time in the field.
