Why the Retay Gordion Waterfowl Legacy Stands Out

The Retay Gordion Waterfowl Legacy 12GA stands out as a purpose-built semi-automatic shotgun optimized for the demanding conditions of waterfowl hunting. The 26-inch barrel provides an excellent balance between maneuverability in tight blinds and the velocity needed for longer shots over decoys. The Legacy Camo pattern offers effective concealment in wetlands, timber, and agricultural fields. Powered by Retay’s proven inertia operating system, the Gordion cycles reliably with a wide range of 2¾" and 3" loads while staying significantly cleaner than gas-operated shotguns. The synthetic stock is highly resistant to moisture and temperature changes, making it ideal for wet, cold, and muddy conditions commonly encountered during waterfowl seasons.

Ideal for Waterfowl Hunters

The Retay Gordion Waterfowl Legacy 12GA is specifically engineered for hunters who pursue ducks and geese in challenging environments. The 26-inch barrel delivers the velocity and pattern performance needed for effective shots at typical waterfowl ranges, while remaining maneuverable inside layout blinds and pit blinds. The Legacy Camo pattern helps hunters stay hidden from sharp-eyed waterfowl, increasing their chances of success. The inertia-driven system ensures reliable function even when the shotgun becomes dirty or wet — a common occurrence during waterfowl hunts. The synthetic stock resists moisture and maintains performance in freezing temperatures, making this shotgun a dependable choice throughout the entire waterfowl season.

This model is especially popular among waterfowl hunters who want a reliable, low-maintenance 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun with effective camouflage and a practical 26-inch barrel length.
