Why the RETAY ACE Walnut 28 Gauge Stands Out

The RETAY ACE Walnut 28 Gauge brings together the best of both worlds: the fast-handling and low-recoil benefits of the 28 gauge with the refined look of a premium walnut stock. While many 28 gauge shotguns are offered only in synthetic stocks, the ACE Walnut model delivers traditional aesthetics without sacrificing modern performance. The inertia-driven action provides clean, reliable cycling with minimal maintenance and noticeably softer recoil than gas-operated systems. The 26-inch barrel offers an ideal compromise between maneuverability in thick cover and sufficient pattern performance for pheasant, quail, grouse, and other upland game birds.

Perfect for Upland Bird Hunting

The RETAY USA ACE Walnut 28 Gauge is an outstanding choice for upland bird hunters. The 28 gauge offers significantly less recoil than a 12 gauge, allowing shooters to stay comfortable during long days of walking and multiple shots. The 26-inch barrel provides excellent maneuverability in brush, CRP fields, and wooded areas where quick shouldering is essential. Whether you’re hunting pheasants in the Midwest, quail in the Southwest, or ruffed grouse in northern forests, this shotgun delivers the fast handling and refined performance that serious upland hunters demand.

The walnut stock adds a touch of traditional elegance that many hunters prefer over synthetic options, while still maintaining the durability needed for field use. The inertia system performs reliably even when the gun gets dusty or wet during hunts.
