Why the RETAY ACE-R Upland Ultra Lite Stands Out

The RETAY ACE-R Upland Ultra Lite was specifically developed for upland bird hunters who spend long hours walking fields, brush, and timber. While many lightweight shotguns compromise on quality or features, the ACE-R Upland Ultra Lite maintains the same high standards found in RETAY’s full-size models. The inertia operating system provides clean, reliable cycling with minimal maintenance and noticeably softer recoil than gas-operated shotguns. The 24-inch barrel offers excellent maneuverability in thick cover while still delivering effective patterns on pheasant, quail, grouse, and dove. The premium AA Grade walnut stock adds classic elegance and a comfortable, natural feel that many traditional upland hunters prefer.

Designed Specifically for Upland Bird Hunting

The RETAY USA ACE-R Upland Ultra Lite 28 Gauge is purpose-built for hunters who cover significant ground on foot. The reduced weight makes a major difference during long days in the field, especially when carrying the shotgun for hours at a time. The 24-inch barrel excels in thick cover and dense vegetation where a longer barrel would be cumbersome. Whether you’re hunting pheasants in CRP fields, quail in the Southwest, ruffed grouse in northern forests, or doves in open country, this shotgun offers the perfect combination of lightweight handling and reliable performance.

The AA Grade walnut stock adds a touch of traditional elegance while providing a comfortable, non-slip grip. Many upland hunters prefer the natural feel and classic appearance of walnut over synthetic stocks, and the ACE-R Upland Ultra Lite delivers both beauty and function in a highly portable package.
