Featuring a beautiful AA Grade Turkish walnut stock and forearm, this specialized upland model combines reduced weight with the performance advantages of a longer barrel. The “Ultra Lite” designation reflects RETAY’s commitment to creating one of the lightest and most comfortable 28 gauge semi-automatic shotguns available, making it an outstanding choice for serious upland bird hunters who cover significant ground on foot.

Why the RETAY ACE-R Upland Ultra Lite 28 Gauge Stands Out

The RETAY ACE-R Upland Ultra Lite 26" was specifically engineered for upland bird hunters who demand both lightweight handling and the benefits of a longer barrel. While the 24-inch version excels in extremely thick cover, the 26-inch barrel version offers increased muzzle velocity and a longer sight plane, resulting in tighter patterns and better performance on pheasant, quail, grouse, and dove at moderate distances. The inertia operating system provides clean, reliable cycling with minimal maintenance and noticeably softer recoil than gas-operated shotguns. The premium AA Grade walnut stock adds classic elegance and a comfortable, natural feel that many traditional upland hunters prefer over synthetic options.
