In an effort to ensure that today's frontline troops have the best possible protection available to them, RMA Armaments is working to develop better body armor to protect military members from lethal bullet impacts. In its work for members of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps in particular, the company has developed a single-curve plate in the form of its Level III Hard Armor Plate design.

With this customer in mind, the RMA Armament Level III Single-Curve Plate has a few special features. Besides being NIJ 0101.06-certified, the plate is built using Ultra High Wight Molecular Polyethylene, which provides a couple of unique benefits. The first is that the plate is incredibly lightweight, weighing in at only 3 pounds.

The second benefit of the RMA Armament Level III Single-Curve Plate is the positive buoyancy offered by the design. The construction ensures that the plate will protect wearers against multiple 7.62 NATO and 5.56 NATO impacts, as well as other comparable small-arms munitions.
