Each RMA Armament Level III+ Multi-Curve Armor Plate is built to meet the latest NIJ 0101.07 standards and is manufactured using a specially designed ceramic/polyethylene composite material that's lighter than previous designs while still providing the ability to stop M855, M80 and 7.62x39 MSC rounds.

The RMA Armament Level III+ Multi-Curve Armor Plate weighs in anywhere from 3.91 to 5.66 pounds, depending on the plate size selected, and measures 1.2 inches thick. To protect the plate material, the unit is wrapped in a 600 Denier covering that resists water penetration.
