Whether you’re introducing a new shooter to the sport, looking for a dependable plinking rifle, or need a compact .22 LR for small game hunting, the Ruger American Rimfire 8391 offers outstanding performance and value. The threaded barrel makes it suppressor-ready, while the synthetic stock provides durability and weather resistance in any environment.
Suppressor-Ready 16.1-Inch Threaded Barrel
The 16.1-inch threaded barrel on the Ruger American Rimfire is one of its most popular features. The 1/2"-28 threading allows for easy installation of a suppressor, muzzle brake, or other muzzle devices. This makes the rifle significantly quieter and more enjoyable to shoot, especially during extended range sessions or when introducing new shooters to firearms. The barrel length provides an excellent balance between velocity and maneuverability, delivering good accuracy and terminal performance with .22 LR ammunition while keeping the overall rifle compact and easy to handle.
Durable Black Synthetic Stock
The black synthetic stock on the Model 8391 is built to withstand the demands of real-world use. Unlike wood stocks, the synthetic material is highly resistant to moisture, temperature changes, and rough handling. This makes the rifle an excellent choice for hunters and shooters who frequently operate in wet or harsh conditions. The stock features a comfortable ergonomic design with a textured grip area that provides a secure hold, even in wet or cold weather. The lightweight construction also helps keep the overall weight of the rifle down, improving handling and reducing fatigue during long days at the range or in the field.
