Ruger American Rimfire Rifle .22 WMR 16.1" Threaded Barrel Black Synthetic Stock | Model 8392 | 9-Round Magazine
The Ruger American Rimfire Rifle .22 WMR (Model 8392) is a high-quality, affordable bolt-action rifle chambered in the powerful .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (.22 WMR) cartridge. Featuring a 16.1-inch threaded barrel, a 9-round detachable magazine, and a rugged black synthetic stock, this rifle delivers excellent accuracy, reliability, and versatility. The .22 WMR offers significantly more power and range than standard .22 LR, making the Ruger American Rimfire 8392 an outstanding choice for varmint hunting, predator control, small game hunting, and long-range plinking. The threaded barrel makes it suppressor-ready, while the synthetic stock provides durability and weather resistance in any environment.
Suppressor-Ready 16.1-Inch Threaded Barrel
The 16.1-inch threaded barrel on the Ruger American Rimfire .22 WMR is one of its most popular features. The 1/2"-28 threading allows for easy installation of a suppressor, muzzle brake, or other muzzle devices. This makes the rifle significantly quieter and more enjoyable to shoot, especially during extended range sessions or when hunting in areas where noise reduction is important. The barrel length provides an excellent balance between velocity and maneuverability, delivering impressive accuracy and terminal performance with .22 WMR ammunition while keeping the overall rifle compact and easy to handle in the field.
Durable Black Synthetic Stock
The black synthetic stock on the Model 8392 is built to withstand the demands of real-world use. Unlike wood stocks, the synthetic material is highly resistant to moisture, temperature changes, and rough handling. This makes the rifle an excellent choice for hunters and shooters who frequently operate in wet or harsh conditions. The stock features a comfortable ergonomic design with a textured grip area that provides a secure hold, even in wet or cold weather. The lightweight construction also helps keep the overall weight of the rifle down, improving handling and reducing fatigue during long days at the range or in the field.
Powerful .22 WMR Performance
The .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (.22 WMR) cartridge offers significantly more power and effective range than standard .22 LR. With higher velocity and greater energy, the .22 WMR is an excellent choice for varmint hunting, predator control, and small game hunting at longer distances. The Ruger American Rimfire 8392 takes full advantage of this cartridge’s capabilities, delivering flat-shooting performance and reliable terminal ballistics. The 9-round magazine capacity provides ample firepower for extended shooting sessions without frequent reloading.
