High-Velocity 5.7x28mm Carbine Platform
The Ruger LC Carbine brings the advantages of the 5.7x28mm cartridge into a rifle platform. Originally developed for military and law enforcement use, the 5.7x28mm round offers a flat trajectory, high velocity, and low recoil. When fired from the 16.25-inch barrel of the LC Carbine, the cartridge achieves even greater velocity and energy compared to pistol-length barrels. This results in improved terminal performance and extended effective range while maintaining the soft-shooting characteristics that make the 5.7x28mm so popular among shooters.
