Safariland Model 6365RDS ALS/SLS Low-Ride Level III Retention Duty Holster for Glock 17 MOS with Light (1204684) UPC 781602777919

The Safariland 6365RDS (Model 1204684, UPC 781602777919) is a premium Level III retention duty holster specifically engineered for the Glock 17 MOS equipped with a red dot sight and weapon-mounted light. Featuring both the Automatic Locking System (ALS) and Self Locking System (SLS), this holster provides exceptional security while allowing for a smooth, intuitive draw. The low-ride design positions the firearm lower on the belt for improved comfort during long shifts and easier access when seated in a vehicle. Built for law enforcement, corrections, and security professionals, the 6365RDS delivers the proven reliability and retention that Safariland is known for worldwide.

Why the Safariland 6365RDS ALS/SLS Holster Stands Out

The Safariland 6365RDS combines two of Safariland’s most trusted retention systems into one highly secure package. The ALS (Automatic Locking System) engages automatically as the weapon is holstered, while the SLS (Self Locking System) provides an additional layer of security that must be deactivated with the thumb before drawing. This dual-retention design meets Level III retention standards, making it ideal for high-risk duty environments. The holster is specifically molded for the Glock 17 MOS with an optic and weapon light, ensuring a precise fit that protects both the firearm and the red dot sight. The low-ride configuration improves comfort and draw speed for officers who spend significant time in patrol vehicles.

Designed for Duty Use with Optics and Lights

The Safariland 6365RDS was developed specifically for modern duty pistols equipped with red dot sights and weapon-mounted lights. As more agencies transition to optics-ready firearms like the Glock 17 MOS, the need for holsters that protect and accommodate these accessories has grown significantly. This model features a raised sight channel that fully protects the red dot optic while maintaining a secure fit. The holster is also molded to accept popular weapon lights, allowing officers to carry their Glock 17 MOS in its fully equipped configuration without removing the light. The low-ride height improves comfort during extended wear and makes it easier to draw the firearm while seated in a patrol vehicle.

This holster is an excellent choice for patrol officers, SWAT team members, and any professional who carries a Glock 17 MOS with both an optic and a weapon light as part of their standard duty setup.
