Sb Tactical LOCKING BUFFER TUBE FOLDING ADAPTER BTFA

The BTFA Buffer Tube Folding Adapter from SB Tactical provides a simple upgrade to improve the portability of your bolt action chassis-system rifle by giving it a folding buttstock. The BTFA lets you put a folding stock on any rifle that uses a standard AR-15 buffer tube as the attachment point for mounting its buttstock. The adapter simply screws into the rear of the chassis - where the AR-15 buffer tube would normally go - and then the buffer tube is screwed into the BTFA.

The BTFA adds only 1.1" to your rifle's length-of-pull when installed. You can either compensate for that by extending the buttstock a little less, if it's an adjustable M4 carbine type stock. And many shooters with longer arms will welcome the additional LOP.

SB Tactical's BTFA Buffer Tube Folding Adapter is constructed of strong yet lightweight 6061 T6 aluminum with a tough military Type III hardcoat anodized finish to resist surface wear and corrosion.

To ensure maximum strength, the BTFA has solid bulkheads that prevent the passage of a recoil buffer, so it will NOT work with the standard AR-15 operating system.
