Featuring a thumb safety, fixed sights, and a 10-round magazine capacity to meet California regulations, the 14031-LE offers the perfect balance of capacity, concealability, and shootability. Whether you’re a law enforcement officer, a responsible gun owner in a restricted state, or someone seeking a dependable defensive handgun, this Shield Plus delivers the quality and performance Smith & Wesson is known for.
California Compliant with Thumb Safety
The 14031-LE model is specifically configured to meet California’s strict firearm regulations. It comes equipped with a manual thumb safety, which is required for many handguns sold in the state. The thumb safety provides an additional layer of security and allows users to carry the pistol in a “cocked and locked” condition if desired. This feature, combined with the 10-round magazine capacity, makes the Shield Plus 14031-LE fully compliant while still offering strong defensive capability. The fixed sights are simple, durable, and easy to acquire, making this pistol a practical choice for both new and experienced shooters.
Compact and Concealable Design
The M&P Shield Plus is renowned for its slim, lightweight frame that makes it one of the most popular choices for concealed carry. The 14031-LE maintains this compact footprint while providing a 10-round magazine capacity, giving users more firepower than many micro-compact pistols. The ergonomic grip design helps reduce felt recoil and improves control during rapid fire, making it comfortable to shoot despite its small size. The overall length and height are optimized for inside-the-waistband or appendix carry without excessive printing.
