The FCU itself is the serialized component will literally allow you to convert a 9mm sub-compact into a full-size .45ACP in a matter of seconds-- all without having to fill out another ATF 4473 form to buy a new handgun.
For those who wish to maintain the consistency of a familiar weapons platform, but are looking for the custom flexibility that switching calibers or to different size handguns bring to the table, the P320 offers the perfect solution. Current frame size options range from sub-compact, compact, carry ("Commander" dimensions) to full-size, where 9mm, .40S/W, .357SIG and .45ACP calibers are currently available. Barrels come standard non-threaded or threaded configurations, where three different length slide assemblies are currently being produced-- which are sub-compact, compact and full-size.
