Why the Spandau S2 Bone Collector Stands Out

The Spandau S2 Bone Collector 12GA stands out as a specialized turkey and close-range hunting shotgun. The short 21-inch barrel provides exceptional maneuverability in thick cover and ground blinds, while the True Timber Strata camouflage offers excellent concealment in a variety of hunting environments. Unlike many mass-produced shotguns, the S2 platform features a robust inertia-driven operating system known for its reliability and reduced maintenance. The inclusion of Carlson’s choke tubes gives hunters the ability to fine-tune their pattern for specific ammunition and hunting situations, making this shotgun a serious tool for dedicated turkey hunters.

Ideal for Turkey Hunters and Close-Range Shooting

The Spandau S2 Bone Collector 12GA is specifically engineered for turkey hunters who operate in thick timber, ground blinds, or brushy terrain. The short 21-inch barrel allows for quick shouldering and target acquisition in confined spaces where longer barrels can be a disadvantage. The True Timber Strata camouflage provides outstanding concealment, helping hunters remain undetected by sharp-eyed gobblers. The Carlson’s choke system allows shooters to optimize their pattern with today’s high-performance turkey loads, while the inertia-driven action ensures reliable cycling even with heavy turkey loads. This shotgun is also well-suited for close-range upland bird hunting and general field use where a compact, fast-handling 12 gauge is preferred.

Its combination of a short barrel, premium choke system, and specialized camouflage makes it one of the most capable turkey-specific shotguns available in its price range.
