Springfield is expanding its optic-ready lineup with this purpose-built carry gun that's now ready run the optic of your choice. This is the Springfield Armory XD-S Mod.2 OSP.

Each Springfield Armory XD-S Mod.2 OSP handgun is chambered in 9mm and features a short, 3.3-inch barrel. The milled slide is designed to accept a direct-mount optic and is milled low enough to allow for the iron sights to co-witness with a compatible optic. Not only does Springfield give you the option of mounting a red-dot sight, you can even order this pistol with a Crimson Trace dot sight already installed, making it easy to set your self-defense rig up straight from the box.

Each Springfield Armory XD-S Mod.2 OSP pistol ships with two magazines, one 7-round, flush-fit design and an extended, 9-round magazine that provides more gripping surface.
