The SureFire MP5 Forend Light 1000 Lumens Black Momentary/Constant 628LMFB (UPC 084871328142) is a high-output, integrated weapon light specifically designed for the Heckler & Koch MP5 submachine gun. This premium forend light replaces the factory handguard and delivers an impressive 1000 lumens of brilliant white light, providing exceptional target identification and situational awareness in low-light conditions. Engineered with SureFire’s renowned quality and attention to detail, the 628LMFB offers both momentary and constant-on activation modes, giving operators complete control over their illumination. Powered by a 6-volt system, this model produces significantly more light than standard 3-volt MP5 forend lights, making it ideal for tactical operations, home defense, and professional use. The seamless integration maintains the MP5’s classic ergonomics while adding powerful, reliable lighting capability directly from the weapon platform.

SureFire continues to set the standard for weapon-mounted illumination. The 628LMFB MP5 Forend Light represents the pinnacle of integrated lighting solutions for the iconic MP5 platform, combining maximum output with a clean, low-profile design.

Powerful 1000 Lumen Output

The SureFire 628LMFB produces a blinding 1000 lumens of focused white light. This high-output LED provides outstanding illumination for close to medium-range engagements, making it highly effective for room clearing, building searches, and low-light tactical operations. The intense beam cuts through darkness while maintaining a usable beam pattern that reduces excessive bloom, allowing operators to maintain better situational awareness during dynamic situations.

Integrated MP5 Forend Design

The 628LMFB is engineered as a direct replacement for the factory MP5 handguard. This integrated design preserves the weapon’s original balance, ergonomics, and handling characteristics while adding powerful illumination. Unlike rail-mounted lights that can add bulk and change the weapon’s profile, this forend light maintains the MP5’s slim, classic appearance. Operators can maintain a natural and comfortable grip without interference from external accessories.

Momentary and Constant-On Activation

The SureFire MP5 Forend Light features dual activation modes for maximum operational flexibility. Momentary activation allows the user to briefly illuminate an area with a simple press, ideal for quick target identification or signaling. Constant-on mode provides continuous illumination when sustained light is required for navigation, searches, or extended operations. This dual-mode capability gives operators precise control based on the tactical situation.

6-Volt Power System

Powered by two CR123A lithium batteries in a 6-volt configuration, the 628LMFB delivers significantly higher output than 3-volt models. This power system provides the necessary energy to drive the high-performance LED while maintaining excellent runtime and reliability. CR123A batteries are widely available and offer superior performance in extreme temperatures, making them a dependable choice for professional users.
