Taran Tactical Innovations Base Pad STVB-4G01 | 2011 Magazine Extension +2 Rounds 9mm / 38 Super

The Taran Tactical Innovations Base Pad STVB-4G01 is a premium magazine extension designed specifically for 2011-style double-stack magazines chambered in 9mm and 38 Super. Manufactured by Taran Tactical Innovations, a leader in high-performance competition firearm accessories, this base pad adds +2 rounds of 9mm while providing a larger, more ergonomic gripping surface. Whether you compete in USPSA, IDPA, or 3-Gun matches, the STVB-4G01 delivers the extra capacity and faster reloads that serious 2011 shooters demand.

Built with precision and durability in mind, the Taran Tactical STVB-4G01 replaces the factory base plate on compatible 2011 magazines with a robust, extended design. The anodized black finish offers excellent corrosion resistance and a professional appearance that matches most 2011 frames and slides. This base pad is an essential upgrade for competitive shooters looking to maximize their round count and improve magazine handling without switching to longer extended magazines.

Increased Capacity for 2011 Magazines

The Taran Tactical Base Pad STVB-4G01 is engineered to add +2 rounds of 9mm (or 38 Super) to standard 2011-style magazines. This additional capacity can make a meaningful difference during competition stages where every extra round helps reduce the number of reloads required. The extended base pad allows shooters to carry more ammunition while maintaining a relatively compact magazine length compared to full extended magazines.

In addition to the capacity increase, the base pad features a larger and more contoured gripping surface. This design allows for a more positive and secure grip when drawing magazines from pouches or during tactical reloads. The improved ergonomics result in faster, more consistent magazine changes, helping competitors achieve better stage times and overall performance.

Premium Anodized Black Finish

The Taran Tactical STVB-4G01 features a high-quality anodized black finish. This finish provides superior corrosion resistance and durability while maintaining a sleek, professional appearance. The anodized coating is significantly more resistant to wear, scratches, and environmental damage compared to standard finishes, ensuring the base pad maintains its look and function even after heavy use in competition or training environments.

The flat black anodized finish also helps the base pad blend seamlessly with most 2011 frames, giving your pistol a clean and uniform appearance. This attention to detail is typical of Taran Tactical products, which are designed with both performance and aesthetics in mind.

Optimized for 2011 Platform Magazines

The STVB-4G01 is specifically designed to fit 2011-style double-stack magazines. This makes it an excellent choice for shooters running popular 2011 platforms such as Staccato, Atlas Gunworks, Infinity, and other 2011-pattern pistols. The precise fit ensures the base pad installs securely and functions reliably without interfering with magazine insertion or the pistol’s operation.

Whether you’re competing in Carry Optics, Limited Optics, or Open division, the Taran Tactical Base Pad STVB-4G01 provides a noticeable improvement in both capacity and handling. The design strikes an excellent balance between added capacity and overall magazine length, making it suitable for both competition and practical use.
